Why is there a waiting room and a queue when accessing the ticketing site?

Waiting Room

The waiting room is used before a sales phase opens and allows the RWC 2027 Ticketing Team to make final preparations to the ticketing site. This waiting room page will provide information on the upcoming sales phase. Once the sales phase is open, you will then move into a queue.

Queue

A ticket queue is used to ensure a smooth experience for all fans during periods of high demand. This helps prevent site overload and gives everyone an equal chance to access tickets. Make sure you’re on the queue page before your turn comes to avoid losing your spot.

When it’s your turn, you’ll have 10 minutes to enter the site before your place is lost. If you miss your turn, your session will expire, and you’ll need to rejoin the queue.
